  • Fiberglass Windows:Pros: Extremely strong and durable, minimal expansion/contraction with Saline, MI temperature swings (maintains seals), highly energy efficient, low maintenance, can be painted, mimics the look of wood well in some styles.Cons: Generally more expensive than vinyl, fewer manufacturers and style options compared to vinyl or wood.Best For: Homeowners seeking maximum durability and energy efficiency with low maintenance, suitable for extreme Saline, MI climates, modern or traditional styles.
  • Composite Windows: (Often a blend of wood fibers and polymers)Pros: Offers some of the beauty of wood with better durability and lower maintenance, good energy efficiency.Cons: Can be expensive, newer technology with less long-term history than other materials.Consider your priorities for cost, appearance, upkeep, and energy efficiency in Saline, MI's climate.
